This is the format.

Most people with real expertise produce content nobody watches — not because the substance is weak, but because the first two seconds give nobody a reason to stay. Paste what you do below and get ten ranked hooks, a script scaffold, and a score that tells you which one is worth filming.

Plain language. "I help ___ do ___" works best — the more specific, the better the hooks.
Optional, but it sharpens every hook.

Check a hook you already wroteFree · nothing stored

Paste a hook, title, or first line you've already written. This measures it against the same five components and tells you which one is weakest — it won't rewrite it for you, and it won't pretend a weak line is strong.

Why the first two seconds decide everything

01

Retention is decided early

Short-form platforms rank by how much of a video people watch. A viewer lost at second one is lost permanently, and no amount of quality later recovers them. The hook is not decoration — it is the whole distribution mechanism.

02

Specific beats clever

"Grow your business" is invisible. "The pricing email that got me a 40% raise" is not. Generic language reads as advertising; specific language reads as information worth someone's attention.

03

One idea, ten openings

The same expertise can be opened as a contrarian claim, a direct callout, or a live demonstration. Different openings find different audiences. Testing them is cheaper than guessing.

Method

Ten archetypes. Each one exploits a different reason to keep watching.

Every hook the engine produces is built from one of these structures — not from a generic template. Different structures work on different platforms and for different audiences, which is why you get all ten and a scored ranking rather than one suggestion.

Archetype

Contrarian

Challenges a belief the audience holds. Disagreement produces replies, and replies produce reach.

Most freelancers price projects in a way that quietly costs them money.
Archetype

Curiosity gap

Confirms an answer exists, then withholds it. An unresolved loop is uncomfortable to scroll past.

There is exactly one reason founders plateau here, and nobody says it out loud.
Archetype

Pattern interrupt

Opens on a command. Imperatives are hard to ignore and read as earned confidence.

Stop building a personal brand the way everyone teaches it.
Archetype

Live demonstration

Promises proof instead of opinion. Strongest when you can genuinely show the work on screen.

I'm going to do this start to finish, no cuts, so you can copy it.
Archetype

Cost of inaction

Loss aversion. People move faster to avoid a loss than to chase an equal-sized win.

Every month you stay stuck here, it costs more than fixing it would.
Archetype

Receipt first

Leads with the outcome, then rewinds. Highest retention when the result is visually provable.
